We got up early today because our camp-side was miles away from the course and we needed to cover some distance. As we were heading to our drop off point we discovered we were going to face slight head-winds. And we did, all day! It goes to show how quickly winds change their direction in the open plains. And wide open it was....and flat....We reeled in the mileage in silence, not because we stopped talking to each other, but because we couldn't hear each other. We stopped just a few miles before Kansas. We are feeling our legs but are so happy we covered the distance in spite of the winds. Another good day. Gundy
Anne,
ReplyDeleteMy name is Stephen Jett. I live in KY, and I've been trying to reach somebody with your organization. I've sent a few e-mails to the 'join' address, with no responses. I'm a cyclist, a GBM survivor (1 yr, 3mo.), and my mother died of brain cancer in 1984. I'd like to ride with you two through KY when you get to the state. please e-mail to stepjett@insightbb.com if possible. Thanks so much.
I think one of the colors should be "Ass"! What a great idea
